Às Vezes Eu Kahlo
Starting from Frida Kahlo's immobility, collecting contemporary gestures and hybridizing them with flamenco dance, the work focuses on the period in which Frida was forced to remain paralyzed in her bed by the serious accident she suffered, becoming an agile, creative woman, determined to continue on her path. Frida builds an admired and iconic personality in our century. The contemporary dance performance intends to incorporate and translate to the extreme Frida's pains, and all her mobile immobility framed by her own restlessness.
